Lecture "Future libraries for future teenagers"  (published: 12.11.2008)
During her stay in Croatia, Virginia Walter, PhD, professor emerita at UCLA will give a lecture titiled "Future libraries for future teenagers: Global trends influencing teenagers and libraries". Lecture is designed for children's and school librarians and all libraries interested in work with young people.First lecture will be given in osijek on 7 November at GISKO, and 10 November in Zagreb, City library.

Dreaming Books in Istria - Librarians' Weekend  (published: 12.11.2008)
As a part of the event Dreaming Books in Istria, this year for the first time fair of children's books will be held Monte Librić. This year's Librarians' Weekend will therefore be focused on the role of libraries on development of reading culture of children and publishing production of children's books in Croatia and world wide.
